The TWIST to Natural Hair

At Salon Success we love taking care of Natural hair.  In The Caribbean, because we are so mixed, you can find many different textures on one head of hair.

Natural hair craves moisture.  Therefore, the process begins with the shampoo.  We use and recommend a Cleansing Conditioner by Mizani.  This product cleanses, gently leaving the hair smooth and moisturized without cleansing to the point of over cleansing.  Another attribute of this product, Condition Cleanse, is that it does two things at the same time.  It cleanses and conditions.

We also get a lot of positive feedback from Natural Hair Clients as they remark on how long their hairstyle can last without frizzing and looking dry.

We attribute this to three products by Paul Mitchell and one by Mizani.  After shampooing the styling process begins with a spraying of Miracle Milk by Mizani.  This is a liquid leave-in conditioner which moisturizes, conditions and detangles.  We follow by Paul Mitchell, The Conditioner, which is a creamy Leave-In Conditioner which can moisturize deep into the hair shaft.  Sculpting Lotion, a light but effective setting lotion is applied next and topped of with Foaming Pomade which is texture product which gives great shine and smoothness to the hair.
