Beard

At Salon Success, we understand that Men, who wear beards, are very particular about their beards.  Therefore, we have designed this treatment to “Pamper” beards.

This service begins with a spray-on dry shampoo to the beard.  The dry shampoo is massaged onto the beard, left on for 5 minutes and then wiped off with a warm clean towel.  This dry shampoo sets the stage for the leave-in moisturizing, nourishing conditioner to be applied.  The conditioner is applied in sections to the beard, left on for a minute or two to penetrate and then combed through the beard hair.

The final treatment takes place when warm, Acai, Muru Muru, or Awauphi Ginger oil is applied to the beard.  The creates a perfectly groomed appearance.

Lavender

One of the Treatments offered by Salon Success for Men is The Lavender Treatment.  This treatment has the magical ability to relieve stress.  The smell of Lavender has a very calming effect.

Lavender has natural moisturizing capabilities.  Therefore, after a Lavender Treatment the hair is left nourished by lavender’s moisturizing ability.

This treatment begins with the application of warm Lavender oil to the scalp.  The oil is massaged to the scalp by a series of circular massage movements.  This is followed by a Lavender moisturizing shampoo.  Once the shampoo service is complete the Lavender Treatment is applied to the hair and scalp.  Prior to the application of a heated towel to the head, the treatment is massaged into the scalp of an additional five minutes.

Anti-Dandruff

Dandruff is caused by several different factors.  Some contributing factors to having dandruff are, Poor Circulation, an over production of the natural oil, sebum, an imbalance in the acidity and alkalinity levels of the scalp.

Salon Success provides a Dandruff Treatment for Men which is highly effective.

 Scalp Aid, is a Dandruff Treatment which is as moisturizing as it is effective.  It is particularly important that the scalp is kept moisturized when one suffers from dandruff.  Products which have heavy oils should be avoided as these clog the pores of the scalp blocking the flow of natural sebum.  When this sebum gets trapped it creates thick scales and this causes itching and creates a positive environment for dandruff.

The Dandruff Treatment at Salon Success begins with a circular massage treatment for about five minutes.  This is followed by a moisturizing, antidandruff shampoo which is acid.  The actual Scalp Aid Treatment is applied to the scalp and left on to penetrate for 15 minutes.  After the treatment is rinsed an acid conditioner is applied for 5 minutes and then rinsed out.

D-Tox

One of the causes of Male Pattern Baldness is that the scalp becomes trapped with layers of dead layers of Epidermis skin) which need to be removed.

Salon Success offers a treatment for Men, Detox for Men, which eliminates unwanted dead skin from the scalp.  This treatment is made of natural ingredients Which gently uplift the dead skin found on the scalp. 

This elimination of dead skin allows for the free flow of sebum (natural oils) to the scalp.  When the scalp is moist this encourages the hair to remain moist also.  When the hair is in a hydrated state it breaks less and there is less hair loss.

Tea Tree

The Tea Tree Special Treatment for Men, at Salon Success, is a relaxing and invigorating experience.

This treatment begins with a five-minute scalp massage.  This massage starts at the shoulders and ends at the frontal hairline.  The massage helps to relax the client and to stimulate the circulation to the scalp.  When the circulation is stimulated, it is much more receptive to the nutrients of the shampoo and treatment.

Tea Tree is excellent for cleansing as it can destroy bacteria or fungus which is harmful to the scalp.  When the Tea Treatment is applied to the hair and scalp it gives an invigorating sensation which leaves the hair and scalp in a healthy energized condition.
