One of the best ways to learn, is to teach.  The way to appreciate our gifts is to share those gifts with others through teaching others the gift we have been given.

God has given me is my passion for hair.  Through sharing my gift and passion everyone who worked with me while I lived in Barbados, there were five persons, have gone on to own their own salons.  The hairdressers I have taught in the OECS, Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States, are some of the most successful Salon Owners on their respective islands.

I am currently teaching someone in Grenada who said to me, after I asked her where she saw herself in five years, “I want to own my own Salon and be an Accountant.”  I was extremely impressed by her vision and honesty.  I have hired her, and she is enrolled in a five-year Apprentice Program at Salon Success.  She will be taught everything I know about Hairdressing and more and will enroll in an evening Accounting Program.

Like the others I have shared with and taught, she will go on to be an excellent Hairdresser who will manage her business well, because of her marriage of Hairdressing and Accounting.  She understands that my motto is “There are no short cuts to learning Hairdressing”.  You do not do it for the money you do it with dedication and honesty and the goal is a client who is 100% satisfied.
