NATURAL HAIR, THE NEEDS
Unlike popular thought, Natural Hair, needs love, care, and special attention.
If your hair is natural, and tightly curled or coiled, this means that it is difficult for the natural moisturizing serum, which is produced by the body, to reach the root of the hair shaft and finally to moisturize the hair shaft. It is therefore of prime importance that the hair shaft be cosmetically moisturized and nurtured daily.
How is this done? Moisturizing of the hair shaft is achieved by cleansing with gentle cleansers like conditioning cleansing or by using small amounts of sulfate free shampoos. The Conditioner you use after cleansing should be deep moisturizing and should be left on the hair for a minimum of 15 minutes.
The daily moisturizing routine for your natural hair should always start with the best moisturizer, water. Following spritzing or wetting your hair a deep deep moisturizing leave in conditioner and an oil, suitable to the texture of your hair should be applied. Some textures need water, then oil, then leave in, some need water or a liquid leave in conditioner followed by a creamy leave in conditioner and then the oil.
