Texture as it relates to Hair

The Texture of hair talks to how straight, curly, or tightly coiled the hair shaft is.  The Texture of hair also speaks to the ethnic mix of the hair.  Is the hair purely Caucasian, Oriental, or African or a mix?

When we speak of hair texture, we also consider how smooth or rough the cuticle of the hair is.  Hair Texture is divided into fine, medium or coarse hair.  Texture of the hair is one of the most important factors for consideration before applying product to the hair, performing a chemical service on the hair, or even cutting the hair.
